Sun Server hardware and Sun Solaris operating system Installation, configuration, performance tuning and security configuration skill and experience.

Install software, apply patches, and manage files systems, monitor performance, technical support and general troubleshooting.

Knowledge of backup tools.

Experience using Jumpstart to conduct server builds.

General and TCP/IP networking experience.

Experience writing CRON scripts.

Network Experience TCP/IP, hubs, DNS.

Strong troubleshooting skills.

In-depth knowledge of Solaris 10.

SAN/Storage configuration and troubleshooting.

Shell programming expertise.

In-depth configuration knowledge.

Storage Area Networks (SANS).

Ability to communicate technical issues with non technical people.

User/Group account management.

WebLogic administration experience.

Knowledge and understanding of basic information security principles.

Hands-on system administration experience with Unix workstations and servers.
