Mandatory Skills

16+ years of Oracle system engineering experience.

Strong Oracle Engineering and integration methods (skills).

Excellent problem solving skills.

Experience with other database products such as mySQL.

Experience with other Oracle products such as Streams and replication technologies.

Demonstrated Oracle programming, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.

Familiar with the agency's system accreditation process.

Experience installing and evaluating COTS products in a secure environment.

Demonstrated systems engineering and troubleshooting experience in UNIX, CENTOS and Windows platforms.

Significant knowledge/experience with webservers such as Apache and Tomcat.

Experience working with PHP, LDAP, and with various APIs.

Experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting system monitoring (Nagios), (Oracle) system administration (Webmin) and auditing (Splunk) tools.

Must be able to write support code using Perl and SQL.

Must have experience in Sun Directory Server.

Must have a strong understanding about the agency's IT infrastructure and understanding of integration of systems into the baseline.

Experience writing Standards of Procedures (SOPs) for troubleshooting and maintaining systems.
